The main objective of this scheme is to provide scholarships through this scheme of LIC to students from economically weaker families who are good in studies i.e. meritorious students so that they can get higher education and employment opportunities. This scheme is started to encourage children from poor families towards education.

શિષ્યવૃત્તિ કેવી રીતે મળશે ?

આ યોજનામાં અરજી કર્યા પછી, વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ₹40000 ની શિષ્યવૃત્તિ આપવામાં આવે છે. આ શિષ્યવૃત્તિ મેળવવા માટે, વિદ્યાર્થીએ નીચેની બાબતો ધ્યાનમાં રાખવી જોઈએ.

• LIC ની આ શિષ્યવૃત્તિ યોજના હેઠળ, વિદ્યાર્થીઓને દર વર્ષે ₹ 20000 ની રકમ આપવામાં આવશે. આ રકમ બે વર્ષ માટે આપવામાં આવશે.
• આ રકમ NEFT દ્વારા વિદ્યાર્થીના બેંક ખાતામાં ટ્રાન્સફર કરવામાં આવશે.
• જો આ યોજનામાં વિદ્યાર્થીની પસંદગી કરવામાં આવે છે, તો તેના નામે બેંક ખાતા અને રદ કરાયેલ ચેક સાથે IFSC કોડ હોવો ફરજિયાત છે.
• જે બેંક એકાઉન્ટમાં આ રકમ આપવામાં આવશે તે ચાલુ હોવું જોઈએ.

કન્યાઓ માટે વિશેષ શિષ્યવૃત્તિ

કન્યાઓ માટેની વિશેષ શિષ્યવૃત્તિમાં, ધોરણ 10 પછી ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ મેળવવા માટે પાત્રતા ધરાવતી પસંદ કરાયેલી કન્યાઓને દર વર્ષે રૂ. 15,000નો પુરસ્કાર આપવામાં આવશે. આ યોજના હેઠળ, સરકારી માન્યતા પ્રાપ્ત કોલેજો અને ITI દ્વારા ઇન્ટરમીડિયેટ/10+2 પેટર્ન, વ્યાવસાયિક અથવા ડિપ્લોમા અભ્યાસક્રમો કરતી છોકરીઓને ત્રણ હપ્તામાં (રૂ. 4,500, રૂ. 4,500 અને રૂ. 6,000) આપવામાં આવશે.
